Software Engineer – C++ or C#
A fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer/ Developer with proficient knowledge in either C++ or C# to join an industry-leading software company with offices in Leicestershire. Offering excellent training, career progression and prospects, this is an ideal time for an experienced C++ or C# Software Engineer to continue their career in a company with an excellent culture, proven by brilliant staff retention.
Location: 2 days a week in Leicestershire / 3 days remote (easier to reach if you drive but public transport links from Market Harborough, Leicester and Rugby).
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum + benefits
Requirements for Software Engineer – C++ or C#
- Commercial programming experience in C++ or C#.NET
- 2.2 honours degree or above in a relevant subject with a high Computer Science content i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering
- Excellent object-oriented programming knowledge
- Passion for coding and interest in software development
- Self-motivated
- Fantastic communication skills
Responsibilities for Software Engineer – C++ or C#
You will join either the C# desktop application team or the C++ Business Components and Integration team and be responsible for:
- Development and maintenance of high-quality software applications
- Collaboration with software development, testers, and product management teams
- Involvement in both technical and business aspects of the product
- Identify the risks and create a plan of actions
- Identify the issues and implement the resolutions
- Contribution to software design
- Meet the deadlines and uphold the high standard
