Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. By entering the prize draw, you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions. 2. The prize draw is being run by RedTech Recruitment Ltd (also referred to as 'RedTech Recruitment' in these terms). Eligibility to enter 3. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who were students enrolled in an educational institution on or after 1st June 2022. For this prize draw, a 'student' refers to individuals studying in universities, colleges, or other educational institutions. (RedTech Recruitment specialises in Graduate Recruitment). 4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. RedTech Recruitment reserves the right to request proof of the eligibility of entrants by requesting a valid student ID, a letter, or certificate from their educational institution, or an email from their student email account (ending .ac.uk). If you have any doubts about your eligibility to participate, or if you believe you might be unable or unwilling to provide the required proof of eligibility, we kindly ask that you refrain from entering to prevent any potential disappointment. Please note that, during the competition period, we are unable to address individual queries related to eligibility. 5. The prize draw is free to enter. 6. Employees of RedTech Recruitment Ltd are excluded from participating in the draw. How to enter 7. This competition is being run across the RedTech Recruitment social media pages/accounts of: X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. 8. To enter, simply follow any of the RedTech Recruitment pages/accounts and like and comment 'enter' on the specified competition post by 29th February 2024. You can earn an extra entry on each social media platform by tagging 2 friends on the competition post. This means you can accumulate a total of 8 entries. Entries submitted after this date will not be eligible for the draw 9. Participants must maintain their following status on the relevant social media channel throughout the competition period and until the winner announcement, as the winner must be following the relevant RedTech Recruitment Ltd social media channel at the point the winner is announced, or the prize will be redrawn. The prize 11. Prize: There will be 1 winner who will receive a gaming laptop with an RRP of £1,000 or more. The exact make and model will be determined by RedTech at the time of the draw. 12. RedTech Recruitment's use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands listed in clause 11 or any of the social media platforms listed in clause 9. 13. The winner will be drawn at random. The winner will be announced across each of our social media channels listed in clause 9 as soon as we have confirmed the eligibility of the winner, as detailed in clause 17. 14. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered. 15. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. 16. The decision of RedTech Recruitment Ltd regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it. Winner announcement 17. The winner will be notified on 5th March 2024 via their social media account. We will then ask for you to provide eligibility of entrance as detailed in clause 3 and 4 and to arrange delivery of your prize. 18. At RedTech Recruitment Ltd, we prioritise your security and privacy. We want to assure you that we will never ask for any form of payment or sensitive personal information, such as credit card details, from participants in our prize draw. Moreover, there is no need for you to fill in any online forms related to the competition. Instead, we will directly contact you via private message on the relevant social media platform, requesting your name, address, educational institute, and proof of your current or past student status after 1st June 2022. Please be aware that if you receive any requests for payment or sensitive data from anyone claiming to be associated with our prize draw, they are likely to be spam accounts attempting to deceive you. In such cases, please report these accounts immediately on the respective social media channel. To ensure your safety, all official communication from RedTech Recruitment will be conducted exclusively through the social media accounts listed in clause 9. We strongly advise participants to exercise caution and refrain from responding to any accounts with similar names that are not listed in clause 9. 19. RedTech Recruitment Ltd takes no liability for any duplicate or scam accounts set up in relationship to this competition and encourages entrants to be vigilant at all times. 20. RedTech Recruitment Ltd will attempt to contact the winner by direct message up to two times. 21. If the winner does not respond to the direct messages notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second message, they will forfeit their right to the prize. In such a case, RedTech Recruitment reserves the right to select an alternative winner. The process of selecting a new winner will be conducted following the same random drawing procedure outlined in clause 13. Once the new winner is determined, they will be notified through direct messages on the relevant social media channel, and they will have 14 days to respond and claim the prize. Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the prize, and RedTech Recruitment will repeat the process until a valid winner is confirmed and successfully notified. Receipt of the prize 22. Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize. The 14-day period for the delivery of the prize starts from the date of confirming the winner's eligibility and contact details. Data protection and publicity 23. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by RedTech Recruitment for the purposes of administering the prize draw and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice. 24. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at info@redtech-recruit.com up to 1 month from the closing date. 25. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and University/Academic Institution to any other prize draw participants if requested via RedTech Recruitment Ltd. Additionally, an announcement of the winner's first name and University will be made via our social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, Facebook, and the RedTech Recruitment Website. 26. All personal information shall be used in accordance with RedTech Recruitment's Privacy Policy. Limitation of Liability 27. RedTech Recruitment Ltd does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize or while undertaking the prize. 28. RedTech Recruitment Ltd. does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner. General 29. RedTech Recruitment Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. In the event of any changes or cancellations, we will promptly update the revised terms and conditions on our website or through the social media channels listed in clause 9. Participants are advised to review the terms and conditions periodically to stay informed about any modifications. 30.RedTech Recruitment Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize giveaway from any or all of the social media platforms listed in this document, at its sole discretion, without prior notice. In such cases, RedTech Recruitment Ltd will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of the prize giveaway's withdrawal via the remaining active platforms or through other suitable means. Participants acknowledge and agree that RedTech Recruitment Ltd shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from the withdrawal of the prize giveaway from any platform. 31. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
