RedTech Recruitment was founded in 2019 by Rebecca Mister and Robert Bull after spending a combined 25 years in the Cambridge tech recruitment market where Rebecca specialised in the early careers in tech.
Given their in-depth understanding of the unique needs of candidates and companies in this space, they aimed to create a specialist recruitment agency focussed on supporting people coming out of academia to find roles in science and technology companies. RedTech Recruitment is based in Cambridge, aka Silicon Fen, a city renowned for hiring highly academic individuals.
RedTech supports candidates and companies across the UK as many of the high-calibre individuals we represent are open to relocation.
RedTech has now built an extensive network of clients and candidates while ensuring honest and ethical recruitment practices. We continually hear we are now the ‘go-to’ recruitment agency for STEM Graduates through to post-doc researchers looking to enter industry. And many of these candidates return to us when looking for their next role, hence in early 2023 we opened an Experienced Hires division.

Rebecca Mister – Co-founder / Director
Rebecca started in recruitment when fax machines were still the main source to submit terms and timesheets! Rebecca is hugely passionate about encouraging diversity within tech and is proud of championing many women to pursue careers in the tech industry. Rebecca’s passion beyond recruitment is travelling with her husband and two children, whether it’s a weekend city break or a cruise (she runs a family cruise blog!). She volunteers as a school governor on the finance committee of her local primary school where she leads Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Robert Bull – Co-founder / Director
Robert very nearly became a lawyer but got wooed by the recruitment world and hasn’t managed to escape. Bringing 15 years of technical recruitment experience to the table, Robert is far from your stereotypical recruitment consultant – it’s one of the reasons so many clients love dealing with his friendly, ethical approach.
Robert can usually be found enjoying finance or business books and articles, playing computer games, or making use of his National Trust membership with his wife and young daughter.
Kye Birks- Senior Business Development Manager
Kye joined us after a career in sales and was the first member of the RedTech Recruitment sales team. Kye’s job remains to tell the world about RedTech Recruitment’s services while managing various client accounts.
Kye’s passions are going to the gym, playing football, and cooking anything and everything in an air fryer. Kye recently moved into his first home with his partner and is now usually found sorting out the garden, or driving somewhere to collect something for his house!
Kirsty Harland – Business Development Manager
Kirsty joined us after spending a short career break raising her son. With an extensive background in sales, followed by a stint in recruitment, she is combining this experience to engage with new clients for RedTech.
Outside of work, Kirsty is a busy Mum who loves spending time with her family, and when time allows has a passion for Formula 1, cars, and travel. She can be found riding her Peloton most days or going to the gym.
Emma Mclintock – Senior Recruitment Consultant
Emma is one of the loveliest people we have ever met in the recruitment industry. She previously worked with Rebecca & Rob, and they quickly hired her when the first role arose in the resource team. Emma is a brilliant ray of sunshine, who candidates love speaking to.
Emma spends her time going to Italian restaurants, visiting her Dad in Spain and loves a bottomless brunch.
Annie Zuravel – Senior Recruitment Consultant
Annie joined RedTech in March 2022 as a Trainee Consultant and was quickly promoted twice to Senior Recruitment Consultant. This was undoubtedly due to her brilliant work ethic and being one of the most organised people on the planet.
Annie is our resident foodie, with a bucket-list of restaurants to visit and also spends her evenings living an alternative gangster lifestyle running all of her businesses on Grand Theft Auto!
Debbie Fletcher – Business Support Admin
Debbie has 30 years of administration experience under her belt and has been brought on board to support everything in the back office, and seemingly spends her life chasing us for receipts. We would be lost without her…..or at least our accountant would be!
Debbie is a huge fan of yoga and spends most of her time when visiting the office trying to get people to join her at a yoga class.
