A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate to work as a Product Security Engineer for an exciting cyber security organisation in Central London, which is making technological advances and solutions to help protect organisations worldwide. Location: Central London, UK – hybrid working

Salary: £45,000 for a graduate – more for experience (up to £100k) + equity in the business

Requirements for Graduate Product Security Engineer:

  • 2.1 or 1st class honours degree from a top university in a degree with a cyber security content
  • Minimum of AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
  • Demonstratable keen interest in cyber security and knowledge in areas such as encryption, identity management, security testing, key management and data protection
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Absolute willingness to learn, with a proactive nature in asking questions to expand the knowledge base
  • Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies
  • Any experience in the following is highly beneficial: Go, Docker, Kubernetes Linux and Rest APIs
  • Excellent communication skills – including written and spoken English

Responsibilities for Graduate Product Security Engineer:

  • Design, Implementation and Delivery of all security aspects of a range of software products
  • Ensure ISO27001 goals are achieved
  • Consult with vendors or third-party security tools
  • Build bespoke security took to assist and automate security processes
  • Help guide the development team on threat modelling for new features
  • Raise security related feature requests
  • Help find and fix security testing issues
  • Conduct reviews to ensure any security support issues are remedied and not replicated
