A fantastic opportunity for a security professional to work as a Product Security Engineer for an exciting cyber security organisation in Central London, which is making technological advances and solutions to help protect organisations worldwide. Location: Central London, UK – hybrid working
Salary: £50,000 – £100,000 per annum
Requirements for Product Security Engineer:
- 2.1 or 1st class honours degree from a top university in a degree with a cyber security content
- Minimum of AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
- Commercial experience in cyber security and knowledge in areas such as encryption, identity management, security testing, key management and data protection
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Absolute willingness to learn, with a proactive nature in asking questions to expand the knowledge base
- Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies
- Any experience in the following is highly beneficial: Go, Docker, Kubernetes Linux and Rest APIs
- Excellent communication skills – including written and spoken English
Responsibilities for Product Security Engineer:
- Design, Implementation and Delivery of all security aspects of a range of software products
- Ensure ISO27001 goals are achieved
- Consult with vendors or third-party security tools
- Build bespoke security took to assist and automate security processes
- Help guide the development team on threat modelling for new features
- Raise security related feature requests
- Help find and fix security testing issues
- Conduct reviews to ensure any security support issues are remedied and not replicated
