A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join a highly successful IT consultancy in Cambridge! This is a great chance to join a highly collaborative team that provides multi-site support and experience across numerous industries – from SME to global-level infrastructure.

Location: Village location just outside of Cambridge, 3 days in office

Salary: Up to £40,000 for a Service Desk Analyst + Excellent benefits

Requirements for a Service Desk Analyst:

We are looking for someone with the majority of the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Office 365; Microsoft Windows 10 deployment; Windows Server Support (2019, 2016, 2012); Active Directory; DNS and DHCP; Antivirus, Antimalware; Data Backup & Recovery.
  • It would also be highly beneficial if you have a good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience with VMware or Hyper-V
  • 10 years of experience in similar roles would be required
  • Ability to pick up new technologies
  • Brilliant communication skills
  • If you would like a more senior role the Azure 104 certification is required

Responsibilities for a Service Desk Analyst:

As a Senior Service Desk Analyst, you will be required to provide 2nd line technical support to end users, infrastructure, and services. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Logging the incidents and requests raised by the clients
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues within Microsoft Desktop operating systems
  • Providing networking support for WiFi, Firewalls etc.
  • Executing maintenance activities for client systems
  • Supporting on-prem/Azure Active Directory and network storage
