A unique opportunity for a Software Engineer with good experience in Python and Django to work for an international AI software company who are expanding their R&D department from the UK and USA into The Hague, Netherlands, with the view of this becoming the European hub of R&D. You will be developing products which are used by organisations globally, from Retailers to Government departments.
This company are true pioneers in their space, and is looking for engineers who naturally think outside the box, and have the ability to come up with innovative solutions
Location: Den Haag, Netherlands (hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Salary: €4,000 to €5,500 Euros per month gross salary, depending on experience + excellent benefits
Requirements for Python Software Engineer:
- Degree educated from a good University with a minimum grade of 7.0 out of 10 (or equivalent GPA)
- Commercial experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of Python & Django framework
- Fluent in English
- Ability to quickly pick up new programming languages
- Innovative with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with at least some of the following: PostgreSQL, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, SCRUM, cybersecurity, JavaScript, Linux
Responsibilities for Python Software Engineer:
- Build technical solutions using Python and Django framework
- Liaise closely with colleagues in the Data Science and Operations teams
- Innovate and create ideas to further enhance the software product
- Traditional project-based development
- You will be expected to pick up new languages/technologies quickly if a different technology is best suited to a certain project
