A fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate or Junior Developer to work as a Systems Software Engineer for an exciting cyber security organisation in Central London, which is making technological advances and solutions to help protect organisations worldwide. Joining an established start-up that has already grown to 100 employees and founded by experts in their field, this offers the chance to work in an environment ideally suited to a graduate.
Location: Central London, UK – hybrid working
Salary: £45,000 for a graduate, up to £60,000 for experience + excellent benefits
Requirements for Junior Systems Software Engineer
- Degree from a top university in a subject with low-level coding content such as EEE, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science (or another STEM degree and subsequent relevant low-level coding experience)
- Minimum of AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
- Can code in C/C++
- We are particularly keen to hear from any applicants with kernel layer development exposure
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Absolute willingness to learn, with a proactive nature in asking questions to expand the knowledge base
- Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies
- Ideally, you’ll have a GitHub and/or examples of personal programming projects
Responsibilities for Junior Systems Software Engineer
- Covering all areas of systems-level and kernel-layer development for the agent architecture of a product that can allow customers to monitor, extract and manage their data.
