Graduate Software Engineer / Developer

A brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer / Developer to work on industry-leading, machine-learning software in Cambridge, UK. Offering excellent training, career progression and prospects, this is an ideal time to join and be guided by some of the brightest minds in Cambridge.

Location: Cambridge – hybrid working 3 days office/2 remote

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum + healthcare, pension etc.

Requirements for Graduate Software Engineer / Developer:

• A minimum of a high 2.1 bachelors from an internationally renowned University in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or similar
• At least AAA at A-Level or international equivalent (please ensure A-Level grades are included on your CV).
• It would be beneficial if you have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or similar
• Experience in object-oriented programming i.e. Java, Python, C++ or C#
• Ability to quickly pick up new programming languages
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team
• Great communication skills with fluent spoken and written English

Responsibilities for Graduate Software Engineer / Developer:

• Develop cutting-edge machine learning algorithms to understand and analyse text
• Innovate and create ideas to further enhance the software product
• Traditional project-based development
• While this is predominantly a Java and Python-based programming role, you will be expected to pick up new languages , if an alternative technology is best suited to a certain project
