Location – Ipswich
Salary – £45,000- £55,000 per annum depending on experience + excellent benefits
Requirements for Technical Architect:
- Ideally, you will be degree educated, although strong experience will also be considered
- Commercial experience in a similar Technical Architect type role
- Knowledge/exposure to the majority of the following technologies: Oracle; RESTful API; JSON; Web Services
- Excellent understanding of the project management principles and techniques
- Proven experience in designing IT systems architecture
- Fantastic problem-solving and organisational skills
- Brilliant communication skills – you will need to motivate and lead the project team
Responsibilities for Technical Architect:
- This is a new role for the business (there has been someone partially covering this area but they feel they now need a focussed Technical Architect) so you will have autonomy to form architectural principles, policies, and standards.
- Validation and documentation of the existing system architecture
- Implementation of improvements to the current IT infrastructure
- Collaboration with Project Managers, 3rd Party Suppliers and other stakeholders
- Identification of the future strategy and roadmaps from a technology and data perspective
- Create design documents for business change with the PM
- Optimisation of the existing systems infrastructure
