Solutions Engineer
A unique opportunity for a Solutions Specialist has arisen with a leading software house based in Cambridge, offering the opportunity to work in a varied, role spanning; product management, marketing, technical pre-sales, and technical consulting.
This role is ideal for anyone who is a brilliant communicator who has great technical acumen and is looking for a multi-faceted and varied position, where no two days will be the same.
Location – Cambridge, UK
Salary – £50,000 – £75,000 per annum + a list of benefits so long it would take up most of the advert!
Requirements for Solutions Engineer:
- Worked as a sales engineer or in a similar technical role within a Software organization
- Displays commercial intelligence and prioritizes customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated track record of successfully handling technical clients
- You hold a degree or its equivalent in a relevant field
- Exhibits exceptional communication and presentation skills, whether in-person or remote – you will need to feel comfortable doing presentations to large audiences
- Shows keen interest in comprehending customer challenges
- Displays a genuine passion for technology and possesses the capability to quickly learn and comprehend technical information.
Responsibilities for Solutions Engineer:
- You will work within a highly interesting role covering product management, marketing, technical pre-sales, and customer success, this will include:
- Gather and understand customers’ requirements
- Run pre-sales demonstrations of the technology to customers
- Run webinars and training on your software product
- Relay your product knowledge to the internal sales team through workshops
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies related to your product
