Location: Cambridge (Hybrid – minimum of 2 days in office)

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 basic + excellent benefits + brilliant commission

Requirements for Software Sales Account Manager

  • At least 3 years in a similar Software or Technical Sales role
  • Demonstratable sales track record where you have consistently hit personal sales targets and developed key accounts
  • Well-versed in composing sales proposals
  • Excellent track record of understanding customers’ needs and presenting software/technical solutions
  • Due to the nature of some customers, you will need to be able to attain UK Security Clearance
  • Brilliant communication skills – both written and spoken
  • Experienced with CRM systems to update and report on activity
  • Degree educated

Responsibilities for Software Sales Account Manager

  • Initially, you will undertake the task to understand your client base and area and develop a plan
  • Reach out to decision-makers to identify and understand opportunities
  • Compose and deliver sales proposals
  • Develop new and existing accounts
  • Update the CRM with all leads, contacts, and opportunities
  • Ensure annual revenue targets are achieved
