Your focus will be on managing and optimising the end-to-end service delivery process, fostering strong client relationships, and driving operational excellence.

Location: Milton Keynes, hybrid working (2 days minimum in office)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + excellent benefits (Including private health cover and relocation allowance)

Requirements for Service Delivery Manager

  • Proven service delivery expertise in software development and quality assurance, specifically within higher education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management proficiency, adept at motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Solid grasp of software development life cycles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and QA processes.
  • Strong knowledge of IT architecture and infrastructure.
  • Effective project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Determined and highly motivated.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities for Service Delivery Manager

  • Serve as the key link between the company and clients, ensuring enduring satisfaction with delivered services. Address and resolve any issues during service delivery
  • Lead development and quality assurance teams, ensuring motivation, productivity, and alignment with service delivery goals. This involves resource planning, performance evaluation, and professional development facilitation.
  • Evaluate project requirements and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills for each task.
  • Continuously improve service delivery processes to boost efficiency, quality, and time-to-value. Implement quality control measures to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuously refine the service delivery process to enhance overall project success rates.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments. Keep stakeholders informed about project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the Implementation development team, contributing to continuous improvement.
