A unique opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a highly successful technical Consultancy in Cambridge. Previous consultancy experience is not required, although you should feel confident speaking with customers, and welcome the idea of a role working on a variety of interesting, and challenging projects.
Location: Cambridge, UK

Requirements for Senior Embedded Software Engineer:
- First-class honours, or high 2.1 degree from one of the top-rated Universities in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related discipline
- Proven experience using C, C++, Python
- Experience using micro-controller architecture and typical features
- Experience within peripherals (e.g., SPI, I2C)
- Experience using RTOS
- Ability to understand a hardware schematic and identify real time constraints of a system
- Experience in developing PC utilities for testing embedded systems in C#, Python, C++ environments
Responsibilities for Senior Embedded Software Engineer:
- Involvement in the entire cycle of product and software development (including analysis, design prototype, implementation, and test development)
- Use a diverse toolset for the implementation of your solutions
- Understand and implement new ideas
- Share your ideas with the team and contribute to the projects
- Collaborate effectively with the team
- Balance the uncertainties of R&D with time and budget constraints
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with the clients and understand their requirements
