Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE + comprehensive benefits including 7% matched pension, comprehensive medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover + more
Requirements for Marketing Manager:
- 3+ years of proven experience in marketing roles within the biotech, diagnostics, or broader healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in formulating and executing successful marketing strategies that foster business expansion.
- Adept in employing digital marketing methodologies and tools, encompassing social media, SEO, and content management systems.
- Competent in print marketing, encompassing materials intended for healthcare providers and patients.
- Preferably have UK media and public affairs expertise, along with established connections to medical and trade media journalists.
- Exhibits excellent communication capabilities, both written and spoken, with the capacity to articulate intricate medical ideas clearly and succinctly. Proficient in interacting with patients, patient advocacy groups, government bodies, media, and the National Health Service (NHS).
- Demonstrates robust project management and organizational proficiencies, effectively handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Possesses an analytical mindset, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Proficient in interdisciplinary collaboration and adeptly engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Displays innovative thinking prowess, and has a drive for making a significant contribution to healthcare diagnostics.
Responsibilities for Marketing Manager:
- Devise and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to bolster market positioning and fulfill growth objectives.
- Lead the formulation and execution of multi-faceted marketing campaigns targeting diverse customer segments—ranging from healthcare professionals and hospitals to patients and pertinent stakeholders.
- Create compelling marketing materials, encompassing brochures, sales presentations, and online content, to convey product and service features
- Champion external communication with patients and the general public by crafting patient information materials, spearheading involvement and engagement strategies, and overseeing collaborations with patient advocacy groups.
- Cooperate closely with the Sales team to align marketing with sales initiatives, pinpointing avenues for bolstering lead generation and conversion.
- Oversee and enhance the online footprint, including the corporate website and social media platforms, to amplify brand visibility and audience interaction.
- Analyze market trends and customer input to spot novel prospects for refining products and establishing differentiation.
- Track and report the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge effectiveness and propose enhancements.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and healthcare entities to nurture collaboration, community, and industry acclaim.
- Strategize for and participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Supervise contracted agencies, managing project execution and timelines
- Exercise oversight over the marketing budget, ensuring correct resource allocation and effective cost control.
