Location –  Cambridge, UK

Salary – £24,000 – £30,000 (lower end for a Graduate, more for relevant experience) + benefits including private health-cover and pension

Requirements for Graduate Software Support Engineer:

  • You must hold a 2:1 or 1st class degree in a technical or scientific subject from a good University
  • Achieved at least BCC at A Level (or equivalent UCAS point)
  • Good technical acumen
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, with excellent problem-solving abilities, and keen to learn.
  • Excellent communications skills – confident speaking to customers and delivering technical training
  • Any experience working in a customer service-type environment would be an advantage, especially in a technical ticketed environment

Responsibilities for Graduate Software Support Engineer:

Provide customer support and training on a renewable energy software product including:

  • Respond and report on customer technical issues via phone and email
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Deliver training webinars to customers
  • Liaise with the development team to resolve issues
  • Build out user guides and software support information
  • Ensure the best possible experience for customers
