A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate with audio-visual-related academics to work as an AV Conference Technician for an established Cambridge company that supply, install and support audio-visual systems.
Partnering with well-known clients across both the public and private sector, you will be given the opportunity to work within a varied and technical role, with an abundance of training on offer.
Location: On site in Cambridge, UK with travel to events with some overnight stays
Salary: £22,000 – £27,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience + benefits including health insurance
Requirements for Graduate AV Conference Technician
- Degree educated in a closely related subject such as Audio Engineering, Sound Engineering, IT or similar
- Ability to swiftly pick up new technologies
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Great communication– this role will be interacting with customers so this is key
- Works well under pressure
- Any experience with setting-up, operating AV systems and equipment would be beneficial
- Your personal situation allows you to stay away from home for events (full expenses covered)
Responsibilities for Graduate AV Conference Technician
- Prepare technical event equipment
- Install, operate and dismantle AV systems and equipment at live events
- Technical problem solving
- Maintain, test and repair AV systems between events
- Liaise with colleagues and customers
