Press Release

RedTech Recruitment are the brand new tech recruitment firm with years of local experience. We are excited to announce this new Technical Recruitment company based in Cambridge, right in the heart of Silicon Fen.

Rebecca Mister and Robert Bull have a combined 25 years of local technical recruitment experience, and have set up RedTech to fill a void in the Cambridge market. RedTech will focus on finding career opportunities for STEM Graduates through to Ph.D. researchers looking to find their first role in industry within local science and technology companies.

Rebecca’s previous career was built upon assisting people coming out of academia from graduates through to post-doc researchers.

“I absolutely love helping people find their first job in industry. Such people have worked so hard throughout academia gaining knowledge in a field. The next inevitable stage is taking their first step onto the career path. This is a hugely important time because your first role can determine your entire career journey. Sometimes people leave academia having a rough idea of the kind of role that interests them but they need to engage with several organisations or roles to understand the exact role and company for them. This is where RedTech can really help; we can discuss a multitude of career options and job opportunities that align with their academic knowledge, aspirations and personality. We can support in many other ways too; from helping with CV content, layout, and ensuring all skills are relayed to prospective employers. We then go on to give support throughout the process; from interview tips to offer negotiation and ensuring you have all of the information you need for your first day.”

Robert has a recruitment agency career spanning 12-years, and has also worked within the internal recruitment team for one of Cambridge’s most successful companies.

“Cambridge is well-known for being one of the international hubs for tech and scientific start-ups and larger organisations. As a company looks to grow they may discover they don’t have the experience, time or tools to ensure they are accessing the top talent. Or maybe they have all of these things, but want to ensure they haven’t missed out on someone really great. This is where RedTech can really help. We have worked for years’ within this industry and work very closely with post-academic talent, helping support them in finding their first role. This coupled with our investment in the best recruitment tools, means we have unrivalled access to some of the best post-academic talent . So whether you are looking to make your first hire or your 700th, RedTech are very well placed to help.”
