This role would ideally suit either a professional who enjoys intricate and detailed work or a Graduate who would like to gain experience work within a manufacturing & lab environment.

Assembly Technician 

A unique opportunity to work as an Assembly Technician for a bio-manufacturing company in Cambridge. This role would ideally suit either a professional who enjoys intricate and detailed work or a Graduate who would like to gain experience work within a manufacturing & lab environment.

Location: Cambridge

Salary:  £25,000 per annum 6 month FTC (will move to permanent if goes well from both sides)

Requirements for Assembly Technician:

  • Very high attention to detail
  • This role involves intricate work so it requires good dexterity
  • Good multi-tasking ability
  • Computing skills – full training will be given on Sage 200
  • Enjoys working in a Team environment
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Good communicator
  • May suit a Graduate from a Biochemistry / Chemistry / Biotechnology background who wants to gain manufacturing & lab environment experience

Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

Working in a controlled laboratory environment while adhering to ISO13485 and ISO9001 you will:

  • Support the production of components and products, including assembly and labelling
  • Accurately complete production batch records and associated documentation.
  • Work to production deadlines
  • Maintain adherence to company standards and core values throughout all tasks.
  • Handle packing and dispatch operations.
  • Utilise Sage 200 to create and process work orders, and manage sales orders during dispatch activities.
