Location: Cambridge or London, UK

Salary: Up for discussion on how this will look – will likely be a mix of base, equity and bonus

Requirements for VP of Technical Operations

Previous management experience overseeing the technical operations of a cloud-hosted software service
You very likely have previous hands-on experience in DevOps / Site Reliability or a similar role
Degree educated in a STEM subject
Operational mindset: processes, attention to detail, monitoring, feedback, and improvement
Brilliant communication skills

Responsibilities for VP of Technical Operations

Reporting to the CTO, a key right-hand person in the leadership of the technical teams
Oversee all aspects of technical operations of a cloud-hosted software service
Responsible for ensuring the stability, efficiency, and performance of all production systems and cloud infrastructure providing services to customers
Overseeing a global team of engineers, both those building and maintaining this infrastructure, and those providing on-call engineering expertise for issues that arise from the service

Applying through RedTech was a pleasant, stress-free and efficient process. I applied to a posting I saw on their website, was contacted by Robert a day later, and then had two interviews the following week!Robert was very friendly and made sure I was well informed every step of the way.
