We are super excited to be looking for our next Sales Executive to join us here at RedTech Recruitment. RedTech Recruitment supports tech companies looking for the top talent emerging from academia and in their early careers. We are offering the opportunity to work in our Business Development & Sales division, where you will engage with prospective clients to tell them about RedTech’s services, win and develop key accounts, and bring on new vacancies.

We split the role of a 360 recruiter into three divisions: Account Management / Business Development & Sales / Resourcing – so you can concentrate on your passion, strengths, and interests, ultimately ensuring we give a level of service to our clients and candidates unrivaled in the recruitment industry! Location: 4 days remote working / 1 day in an office in Waterbeach (Monday – this is mandatory)**Important info below for part-time applicants

Salary: Basic + Comms with a realistic OTE year 1 £35,000+ / year 2 £40,000+

Requirements for Sales Executive

  • Essential: Experience in a role focused on phone-based sales (not limited to recruitment roles).
  • You are confident and outgoing.
  • You’re unfazed by making calls to new contacts.
  • Tech-savvy.
  • A self-starter with plenty of enthusiasm, taking the initiative. With so much remote working, we need someone who can work independently and drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. You’ll be crafting engaging emails, writing marketing posts, and communicating clearly on the phone and in person.
  • Knowledge of technical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities for Sales Executive

  • Source job leads from multiple online platforms and update our database.
  • Follow up on leads via phone, email, and occasional site visits, ensuring consistent outreach.
  • Attend networking events to expand your professional connections.
  • Identify key target clients and run focused campaigns to engage them.
  • Create regular posts on major social media platforms to promote RedTech.
  • Book and attend meetings with prospective clients to grow new business.
  • Although your main focus will be on new business, you’ll also qualify around 3 candidates per week for live roles to stay updated on market trends.
  • Build strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
  • Deliver feedback and offers to candidates.
  • Occasionally, you’ll write ad copy for new job openings.
